Yoga Therapy
Personalised yoga practice to support you where you are
As well as teaching group yoga classes, I also work one-on-one with clients. A private session might look like a yoga class for one, but it is also a highly tailored experience.

I am now offering yoga therapy under supervision as I complete my case studies to be a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT).
What is Yoga Therapy?
What is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga therapy is a modern way to integrate yogic concepts with Western medical knowledge and current research on the body, health, and well-being. It's an holistic practice that helps support individuals as they navigate their way through psychological or physical symptoms and conditions. Yoga therapy does not replace medical care. We use the tools of a yoga practice adapted to the person, and we don't work with pain — if it hurts, we don't do it.

As well as movement and breathing practices, yoga therapy includes techniques like guided meditations and the application of yogic philosophy.
This is more than private yoga, and requires years of study to become a certified yoga therapist. Yoga therapy sessions are created just for you where you are now.

At this time Yoga Therapy is not covered by your insurance provider in New Brunswick. The International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) is working to bring Yoga Therapy under the umbrella of extended healthcare.
Yoga Therapy is currently recognised by insurance providers in British Colombia.
